I am surprised to find out that some of the Metal bands that I recently came to enjoy are in fact Christian Metal bands! If you listened to some of the music I am sure you too would be surprised as these bands are hardcore Metal. Here are some of the ones that I listen to, usually while working out:

System of a Down band members Daron Malakian and John Dolmayan have teamed up for a new venture called Scars on Broadway. Their first, self titled albumn has a similar sound to SOAD but with a much more mainstream focus. While I am a fan of SOAD’s recent releases it is my opinion that Scars on Broadway is a much better experience in every way.
I suggest visting Amazon.com or the band’s official website to sample the music. Please be aware that the language is VERY EXPLICIT!
